Jointly created by Chinese Arts and Crafts Masters Zhu Bingren and Cheng Shumei, these contemporary masterpieces fuses two national-level ICH crafts—copper carving and filigree inlay. Produced through the first grand collaboration between ZEN BRON and the Oriental Culture & Arts Institute under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, this collection commemorates the 75th anniversary of the PRC and the 60th anniversary of China–France diplomatic ties.
Crafted over 108 hours using 99g of 999‰ pure silver gilded in gold and inlaid with 70 gemstones, this is the most opulent “King of Deer” ever made—pioneering the use of nano-scale jewelry techniques in copper carving. It is also the first contemporary Dunhuang-inspired intangible heritage artwork from China to enter the United Nations Headquarters collection.
