【Cultural Activities】Melting the Ancient and Casting the New – Chu Bing Yan Art Exhibition – Singapore

Zhu Bingren teacher, the only national arts and crafts master in the field of bronze carving in China, he created ten major copper buildings for contemporary China: Leifeng Pagoda, Guilin Copper Tower, Changzhou Tianning Pagoda, Emei Mountain Golden Peak, Hangzhou Xiangji Temple, Dahong Mountain Golden Peak, Lingyin Copper Palace, etc., Zhu Bingren is one of the most influential artists in the world. In 2000, he was listed in the United Nations Development Programme’s “21st Century Cover Person” and commented: “Among the bronze carving masters, Mr. Zhu Bingren deserves to be a generation of grandmasters. He is also known as the “father of contemporary copper architecture in China”.
Master Zhu Bingren’s bronze carving skills are listed as the only inheritor of China’s national intangible cultural heritage (Intangible Cultural Heritage List No. 902), and his original copper melting art has created a new school of “melting realism”. Master Zhu Bingren’s bronze sculpture art has created a new aesthetic, visual and artistic concept, which is a subversion of the existing art schools in the world. His unique comprehensive talent in poetry, calligraphy, painting and printing has a high reputation at home and abroad, and he also did his best to clarify his worries, and to create the only Jiangnan copper house in China, namely Zhu Bingren Bronze Sculpture Art Museum, with copper as the essence. Now he is a master of Chinese arts and crafts and a famous copper melting artist.
The Zhu Bingren Art Exhibition will feature the large-scale sculpture “Dao Ke Dao” with the theme of the world’s humanistic and natural elements, the world’s only Gengcai art series, and molten copper murals as the main works. Like Leonardo da Vinci, Zhu Bingren is also a master of many artistic disciplines and innovative momentum, and his series of molten copper and gold seals, pixel art, copper rhyme Chinese paintings, and works that focus on hot issues of mankind are also the highlights of this exhibition.
